From the collected literature, I categorized the research into “Issues of ‘environmental configuration’ in childcare,” “Spatial and physical environment in childcare settings,” “Environment and Concept Formation in Infancy,” “Relationship between caregivers’ environmental configuration and children’s behavior,” “Approaches from affordance theory,” and “educational moment” examined trends in these areas. The results indicated that in childcare practice, it is necessary for caregivers to infuse educational values into the environment, create situations that are meaningful for children’s development, and reconstruct the environment by creating an environment appropriate to the aims and content of the childcare program.
