Neriage is core of the process of problem solving, which is the process of expanding on some of the ideas from students, discussing and refining them. In this paper, the author described the lesson of multiplication in second grade at elementary school and analyzed it based upon the Vygotsky's development theory. It is found that Negiage is necessary for children's concept formation and has two important roles by interacting with other students, i.e., deep understanding with an agreement on those processes and independent learning.
