We will especially consider Subject Development with focus on the combination of subject specialty and subject education. We conclude that Subject Development approach is a useful research method for the studies in foreign language learning/teaching. Whether a certain kind of method of teaching a foreign language/teaching is valid or not must be evaluated by analyzing data based on the objective research methodology.
