Through the statistic examination of the 'time-lag' between metronome sounds and beat-points of each subject's conducting motion, the following results were obtained; 1. While beat-points of beginners tend to coincide with metronome sounds, those of trained conductors are rather earlier than metronome sounds. 2. Beginners' downward motion-speed is higher than their upward one. Contrarily, trained conductors' upward motion-speed is higher than their downward one. 3.
