The subjects of this study are 93 children of the fifth grader and six grader of one elementary school in Aichi prefecture. The survey was conducted by the unsigned questionnaire which consisted of the resilience scale, negative experience scale and positive experience scale. Some results are shown below. The factor analysis by the principal factor method and the promax rotation were conducted about 24 items of the resilience scale, and three factors of "positive future orientation", "seeking interests and concerns" and "perseverance" were found out. T-test were performed with degree of negative and positive cognition of experiences (high and low discrepancy) as the independent variable, and scores on resilience scale as the dependent variable. The results showed that some significant difference. And experiences divided into at school and home, groups with high and low scores for negative experiences and positive experiences were used as independent variables, and resilience scores were a dependent variable. The results of ANOVA showed main effects of level of positive experiences in both school and home.
