{"created":"2023-06-20T14:25:11.425969+00:00","id":6154,"links":{},"metadata":{"_buckets":{"deposit":"142732b2-a309-47f1-aa94-51860044e8fc"},"_deposit":{"created_by":3,"id":"6154","owners":[3],"pid":{"revision_id":0,"type":"depid","value":"6154"},"status":"published"},"_oai":{"id":"oai:aue.repo.nii.ac.jp:00006154","sets":["6:406:803"]},"author_link":["81"],"item_3_alternative_title_1":{"attribute_name":"その他のタイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_alternative_title":"Developmental Changes in Number of Utterances, Words and Morphemes in First-Language Narratives"}]},"item_3_biblio_info_7":{"attribute_name":"書誌事項","attribute_value_mlt":[{"bibliographicIssueDates":{"bibliographicIssueDate":"2017-03-31","bibliographicIssueDateType":"Issued"},"bibliographicPageEnd":"32","bibliographicPageStart":"23","bibliographicVolumeNumber":"5","bibliographic_titles":[{"bibliographic_title":"教科開発学論集"}]}]},"item_3_description_27":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"text","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_3_description_5":{"attribute_name":"抄録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"本研究は、日本語を第一言語(母語)とする子どもの物語文の発達過程に関する研究である。物語文の発達過程には、言語知識の発達と談話構成能力の両方が関わっていると考えられるが、ここでは、言語知識の発達に焦点を当てる。3~11歳までの子どもの物語文の発達を年齢による発話数、単語数、形態素数の推移の観点から分析した。さらに、文法発達の過程を、形態素MLU(MLUm)と自立語MLU(MLUw)を指標として分析した。その結果、発話数の変化は全年齢であまり大きく増加しないこと、単語数、形態素数は3~5歳で著しく増加することが分かった。MLUmとMLUwは、3~5歳で増加が見られ、5歳で大人の値に近づくことが明らかになった。以上から、この物語文においては、3~5歳の間では、言語知識の発達が顕著に見られることが明らかになった。先行研究では、第一言語発達において言語知識の発達は比較的早期で、3歳頃には、すでに物語の出来事を描写できる言語知識を備えていること(Inaba,1999)、局所構造を構成する能力は、3歳頃から現れ、主に5歳ごろまでに発達すること(Inaba,2001)が示唆されている。3~5歳の単語数、形態素数はこれらの能力と相まって増加しているのではないかと考えられる。MLUmとMLUwの増加は、この時期の連結表現の発達(宮田・稲葉,2012)による文構造の複雑化と相まっているのではないかと推察される。また、MLUmとMLUwの値を比較すると、MLUmの方が文法発達の推移を敏感に捉えていることが分かった。しかし、この物語文では、5歳で大人のMLUm、MLUwに近い値に達することから、5歳以降の発達を敏感に捉えるには適さないことが示唆された。本研究は物語文の言語知識の発達を数量的な変化でのみを捉えたものなので、発達過程を解明するには、語彙(述べ語数・異なり語数)、形態素の種類や機能、発話の文法構造等を談話構成能力の発達と合わせてさらに細かく分析する必要があり、これを今後の課題としたい。","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"},{"subitem_description":"The present research investigates the developmental process of first-language narratives. Fictional stories based on a picture book (Frog, Where are you?; Mayer, 1969) made by Japanese children aged 3 to 11 and Japanese adults are analyzed with respect to how they produced a well-formed narrative. The narrative data was converted into the JCHAT format (Miyata, Morikawa and Muraki, 2004). This data was analyzed using the CLAN programs (MacWinney, 2000). The numbers of utterances, words and morphemes used in a story in each age group were counted. The MLUm (Morpheme MLU) and MLUw (Word MLU) devised to fit to the feature of Japanese language by Miyata (2012) were adopted to calculate MLU (Mean Length of Utterance). The research brought about the following results. There was a small increase in utterances in accordance with increased age. In particular, there is a remarkable increase in the number of Words between 3- to 5-year-olds. The morphemes also showed a large increase between 3- to 5-year-olds. The values of MLUw and MLUm also became higher between 3- to 5-year-olds and attained the TL (target language) adults’ value. These increase in changes appear to occur along with the development of children’s narrative skills, such as constructing the local and the global structures of the story. In comparing the values of MLUm and MLUw, it appears that MLUm is more susceptible to changes. This is in accordance with Miyata’s (2012) contention. However, the value of each approaches the MLUm and MLUw values of an adult at the age of five. This suggests that such a measurement is ill-suited to children above the age of five. As this current study only encompasses the quantitative changes in stories, a more detailed analysis is required into the vocabulary (the number of stated words and the number of differing words), the types and functions of morphemes, and the structure of grammar in utterances, in order to clarify the mechanisms of growth.
