| 内容記述 | We observe that the Collatz process over the 2-adic integers Z_2 except {0,-1/3} is decided by a continuous mapping φ: Z_2＼{0,-1/3}→Z_2, which is a natural extension of the Collatz function φ defined on the all odd integers. In generally, the φ-orbit of x∈Z_2＼{0,-1/3} is decided by the corresponding sequence of 2-exponents. Every n-periodic points of φ over Z_2 is a rational number of odd type, which has been decided by the 2-exponent sequence {p_1,p_2,・・・,p_n,p_1,p_2,・・・} of period n. | |||||
