| 内容記述 | The aim of this paper is to analyze differences in safety decisions made by caregivers and guardians. We conducted a questionnaire regarding decisions about safety and danger during childcare activities, and compared differences as well as the bases for these decisions. We found that guardiansʼ assessments of danger tended to be lower than those of caregivers, and that the bases for the decisions also differed. Caregivers based their decisions on the risk of children being harmed, personnel allocation, rules of the care facility and past accidents. In contrast, parents based their decisions on the assumption that the physical and human environment of the care facility was safe, and on their limited knowledge of dangers to children. | |||||||||
