The participants were 37 nursery schoolchildren and 919 elementary schoolchildren. The nursery schoolchildren were interviewed, and the elementary schoolchildren answered a self-report questionnaire. Each participant was presented with a scenario, in which one character was apt to feel mottainai affects. The participants were then asked what they thought the character felt. The results showed that there were no responses of mottainai by the nursery schoolchildren; however, some first-grade elementary schoolchildren did give a response of mottainai. Among the elementary schoolchildren, fifth- and sixth-graders were able to think more in terms of economic principals than first-graders. The fifth- and sixth-graders felt motivated to exercise care in having feelings again of mottainai in similar situations.}, pages = {99--105}, title = {もったいない感情の発達的変化に関する探索的研究}, volume = {69}, year = {2020} }
