Science is no exception, and science education for developing specific qualities and abilities is required. In particular, biological education will be necessary to acquire creativity that can deal with unknown problems and issues within the contexts of each student. In this study, therefore, the author became a teacher used an artificial small robot called “ HEX BUG [Nano Nitro]” in a project called “STEM Academy in Shizuoka University” in order to examine the development of qualities and abilities to enhance creativity in biology education. And also, the development of teaching materials and their results were reported on. As a result of the practice that the children themselves learned from “what they made” and “the activities they create”, it was found that the children's creativity was increasing when we compared to the starting point, middle practice point and ending point of the task.
