A further purpose is to create a rubric to be used for assessment and to propose a concrete method of interpreting qualities and abilities from performances. To examine the first year of high school, we considered a method to convey the intention of singing expression via the movement of conducting and developed a performance task to actually conduct the chorus. After that, a sample group was extracted, via performance was assessed using a rubric created by multiple music teachers, and moderation was repeated to make adjustments and create an assessment tool with reliability and validity. In learning music, “knowledge and skills” and “thinking ability, judgment ability, expressive ability, etc.” are required to be nurtured while students interact with each other. It is necessary to assess these factors in an integrated manner.
