| 内容記述 | 本稿では、日本で取り組まれている「プロジェクト型保育」の歴史的背景を先行研究から分析し、その理念や定義について整理を行った。その結果、現在の日本の「プロジェクト型保育」は、プロジェクト型学習が提唱された戦前のアメリカ新教育の影響を直接受けたというよりも、その理念を背景に諸外国で発展した保育実践、代表的なものとして、イタリアのレッジョ・エミリア市の保育実践などの影響が大きいことが明らかとなった。また日本の幼児教育施策において、小学校接続を目的とした「協同的な学び」が推奨され、そのための活動として「プロジェクト型保育」が広がっていることも明らかとなった。これらを踏まえ、現在のホームページ上で自治体や保育施設が紹介している「プロジェクト型保育」に関する記述を分析した。その結果、自治体や保育施設によって、取り組みに違いがみられた。特に、プロジェクトテーマを子どもが決める場合と保育者が提示する場合とがあり、その場合、同じ「プロジェクト型保育」であっても、自由保育型（環境構成型）に近いものと、一斉保育型（設定保育型）に近いものがあることが明らかとなった。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | This study analyzed the history of "Project Approach in Early Childhood Education" and the current early childhood education measures in Japan by previous research review, and organized the main ideas and definitions around it. I found that the current "Project Approach in Early Childhood Education" in Japan has evolved from the philosophy of prewar American new education, which is advocated for project-type learning in many foreign childcare practices; a typical example is the childcare practice in Reggio Emilia, Italy. In addition, Japan's early childhood education policy recommends "KYODOTEKINAMANABI：cooperative learning" This concept means that children share common tasks and work together to learn, for the purpose of connection with elementary school education methods and contents. Moreover, the "Project Approach in Early Childhood Education" is spreading as a method for the purpose of cooperative learning. Based on this result, I extracted and analyzed the "Project Approach in Early Childhood Education" currently introduced by municipal administration and childcare facilities on their website. Accordingly, there were differences in the efforts of different government and facilities. Particularly, in some cases, the children were deciding the project theme, while in others, the teachers were deciding it. Thus, the application of "Project Approach in Early Childhood Education" has the tendency of adopting free-style and settingtype practices. | |||||
