| 内容記述 | The use of alliteration in prose has not been studied sufficiently due to the difficulty of collecting examples. However, because of its auditory and stylistic effects, analyzing texts with a focus on alliteration can lead to discovering new aspects. For this reason, the development of an efficient method of collecting examples is desirable. In this paper, we focus on James Joyce’s Ulysses, a work well known for its extensive use of alliteration. We explore a method of researching alliteration using digital tools and introduce an application named Alliteration Detector designed to facilitate the collection of alliteration examples.
