| 内容記述 | 本研究は、近年の教育現場におけるアクティブラーニング型授業に応じた、帰納的句動詞学習法を提案するものである。句動詞習得は、動詞と不変化詞の部分の総和から、句動詞全体の意味が予想できないというゲシュタルト性により困難を伴うこともあるが、理論言語学の1 つ、認知言語学の知見を応用し、概念メタファという意味の有縁性に着目することによって、納得しながら定着が図れる学習法を試みる。語彙習得においては、教師主導型の演繹的学習が多い中、帰納的句動詞学習へと転換できるよう、ジグソー法を援用した学習法を設計し、その有用性について先行研究と調査結果の考察を交えながら示す。本研究は、認知言語学と第二言語習得の観点からの外国語教授法とを統合した教科学と、学習科学や心理学などを融合し、新たな視点を持った教科開発学という研究分野の構築を目指すものである。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | The present study aims at proposing an inductive phrasal verbs learning pedagogy in response to a recent educational policy, in which teachers are engaged in a dynamic exploration of the instructions surrounding active learning. The major learning problem with phrasal verbs, often referred to as multi-word verbs or verb + particle constructions, is notoriously the semantic gestalt (by metaphors in the conceptual system) that disables their overall meaning, which in turn prevents predictions of meanings from the constituent parts consisting of verbs and particles. However, the insights of cognitive linguistics can account for the reason why phrasal verbs behave in such a manner. By using theoretical rationales for the meaning of phrasal verbs, learners of English come to formulate and grasp the image of each phrasal verb, which brings them to a better understanding of its meaning. In the field of vocabulary learning research, there have been comparatively few reports focusing on inductive approaches to phrasal verb learning, if any. This paper provides a design for enhancing phrasal verb learning; applying a jigsaw method in order to shift deductive approaches, such as teacher-guided instruction, to inductive approaches. Thereafter, a discussion is conducted concerning the benefits of inductive phrasal verb learning, based on the previous studies and the significantly positive effects shown from the survey. Additionally, this research attempts to contribute to the establishment of studies around “Subject Development”, integrating “Subject Studies” from the stance of second language acquisition and cognitive linguistics theory with “Education Environmentology” from the point of learning sciences and psychology. | |||||
