| 内容記述 | Kawamura (1993) described the detailed stratigraphy of the Plio-Pleistocene Osaka Group in the Nara Hills. Additional data to the paper are given here to discuss the relationships to previous works (Yokoyama and Nakagawa, 1984; Mitamura, 1992 etc.) The data show that the lithostratigraphic division of the group by Kawamura (1993) is more reliable than those by the previous works, and the descriptions of intercalated volcanic ash layers and geologic structure by the former are more accurate than those by the latters. Furthermore the data indicate the conformable relationships among all the stratigraphic units of the group, although Yokoyama and Nakagawa (1984) inferred an unconformity in the group. | |||||
