| 内容記述 | 児童・生徒が保健分野の知識を理解し、それを実際の健康行動へと結びつける際に、これまでの保健教育にはいくつかの問題点があった。それは、保健教育を行う教員の関心が低いこと、保健教育に与えられた時間が少ないこと、保健教育で何を教えるべきかが明らかにされていないことなどである。本論文では、保健教育における「理解」と「行動」の間に「判断」を置き、「健康リテラシー」をこれらをつなぐものと定義した。現状では、健康リテラシーの概念はさまざまでかつ広範囲なので、学校教育の中で、子どもたちにすべてのリテラシーを学習させることは難しい。そのため、健康リテラシーの３つのステージのうち、認知の観点から高い能力であると考えられている｢批判的健康リテラシー」をとりあげた。さらに、「批判的健康リテラシー」の中心的な概念である「健康情報リテラシー」を、学校で行う保健教育の中で子どもたちに理解させることの意義を論じた。最後に、子どもたちの健康情報リテラシーを育てる具体的な教育内容（試案）を提案した。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | Some problems are seen in conventional health education when in helping schoolchildren and students to acquire knowledge of the health field and tie it to actual health behaviors. The three main problems are the low level of interest of teachers who provides health education, that little time is given to health education, and that it has not been made clear what health education should teach. In this paper, “judgment” is placed between “understanding” and “behavior” in health education, and “health literacy”is defined as connecting them. Since the concept of health literacy is varied and wide ranging, it is difficult to have children learn the entire scope of literacy in school education under the present circumstances. Therefore, “critical health literacy,” considered to be advanced ability, was taken up from the viewpoint of cognitive ability among three stages (functional, interactive and critical literacy) of health literacy. Furthermore, the significance of having children understand “ health information literacy,” which is the principal conception of “critical health literacy,” in the health education provided in school is discussed. Finally, concrete educational contents (tentative plan) to raise children's health information literacy are proposed. | |||||
