| 内容記述 | As no experiments of organic natural products distributed in animal tissues have so far been scheduled for juniors of the Aichi University of Education who specialize in chemistry, the extraction methods of cholesterol from squids or hen's egg yolks were developed. These methods were applicable to chemical laboratory courses. Cholesterol is so much familiar to the students as one of the substances which are seriously related with adult's diseases and obesity, that the laboratory experiment of its extraction from animal foods which are rich in cholesterol would arouse their interest and should make them have a deeper understanding in chemistry of organic natural products. The results of the laboratory carried out are also reported. | |||||
